Alumni Association
Established in 1963, the 葡萄京官方网站 Alumni Association (UVAA) is a dynamic link between 葡萄京官方首页 graduates and the university. The association is a separate society incorporated under the Society Act of British Columbia.
The UVAA’s mission is to encourage, in partnership with the university, a lifelong relationship between 葡萄京官方首页 alumni and their university through a variety of events, services and communications.
Membership
You are automatically a lifetime member of the UVAA upon graduation from 葡萄京官方首页 with a degree, certificate or diploma. Former students of Victoria College and the Provincial Normal School are also members. There is no annual fee for membership in the UVAA.
As a member of the alumni association, you can take advantage of:

The UVAA board of directors is made up of alumni volunteers. The UVAA board serves the UVAA and represents more than 146,000 葡萄京官方首页 alumni worldwide.

Current board
President Alumni Association
Gerry provides information governance and risk management (privacy and security) consulting services to organizations in Canada and the US. He is co-author of Guidelines For The Protection of Health Information, a founding director of the Calgary Security Professionals' Information Exchange, past director of the Computer Science Advisory Board of Mount Royal College, and Past-President of ISACA Victoria.
He developed the privacy framework for Panorama, Canada's public health information system, and is involved in big health data research as privacy lead. He was in the first Health Information Science graduating class at 葡萄京官方首页 and has spent a good portion of his life close to the campus.
